CEIBS Visiting Assistant Professor Arthur Daemmrich Contributes Chapter to Oxford Handbook of Offshoring and Global Employment

 

Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Administration at CEIBS and
Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School Arthur A. Daemmrich has contributed the chapter “The Welfare State as an Investment Strategy: Denmark's Flexicurity Policies” to The Oxford Handbook of Offshoring and Global Employment published by Oxford University Press. Co-written with Thomas Bredgaard, the chapter examines how the welfare state can serve as a national strategy to invest in economic competitiveness and sustainable national prosperity, as well as the significant policy challenges associated with operating an open economy in a period of increased labor mobility.

The Oxford Handbook of Offshoring and Global Employment explores how globalization, economic growth and technological developments interact to impact employment, by providing perspectives from eminent academics and policy makers from around the world.
